Upcoming Releases and News
9:45 AM PST, 5/16/2008
I will probably schedule another couple of mini-runs (5 issues) of both the Fantastic Four and Avengers over the weekend (if I have time). I will also be looking to start auctioning off my Daredevil and Captain America collections before the month's over. I have been buying up as many silver age Daredevil comics as I can over the past several weeks, so I have quite a collection to sell off.
Regarding Captain America...I've got a ton of silver/bronze age Cap comics ready to go. All I'm waiting on is to back fill some early issues of Tales of Suspense. When you see TOS #59 (the first silver age solo Captain America story) hit my listings, you will know that Captain America has come to New Creation Comics!!!
Be Blessed!!!

More New Releases!
9:39 AM PST, 5/16/2008
In case any of you noticed, I slipped in 15 more comics last night. The first batch is a run of 10 bronze age Spider-Man comics (issues #140-149). These stories contain the Gwen Stacy Clone saga as well as introducing the Spider-Man clone saga. We also learn the identity of the mysterious Jackal. Throw in a two-part story featuring the Scorpion and that's more web-action than a Spider-Man fan can hope for!!! Buy them while they're still available.
The second batch was a mini-run of some bronze age Flash comics I had lying around. One of them has a special treat as it is the first Flash comic to feature the Green Lantern/Green Arrow stories drawn by Neal Adams! The GL/GA comic may have been discontinued, but the stories live on!
All of these comics are offered at 30% off Overstreet's guide prices for those of you who want to use the BUY IT NOW feature. If you don't want a bidding war, use the BUY IT NOW feature before the first bid is placed. You better hurry too...all 15 comics have a $0.99 starting bid, so somebody will snap up before too long.
Be Blessed!

New Releases for the Week of April 6, 2008
9:18 AM PST, 4/8/2008
Due to the fact that I was out of town last weekend, my new releases for this week were delayed. Yet they are coming out TONIGHT!!! Here's what's on tap for this set of auctions...
Amazing Spider-Man #120 thru #124: These five issues include the classic key issues of 121 and 122 (the death of Gwen Stacy and the original Green Goblin). These issues present a turning point in the life of everyone's favorite webhead. Issue #121 is in VF+ condition; VERY high grade. I would have graded this a VF/NM except for the slight tanning of the interior pages. This comic is CGC worthy!!! Issue #122 is only in the VG grade, but that's good for YOU! You get a key issue at an affordable price.
Fantastic Four #54 thru #59: These issues see appearances from the Inhumans, Silver Surfer and Doctor Doom. Issue #55 has a battle between the Thing and the Silver Surfer and issue #57 starts the four-part story where Doc Doom steals the Surfer's board.
Avengers #35 thru 39: These silver age stories continue the saga of Earth's Mightiest Heros. We also see the introduction of Hercules to the mix. All in all, these are great issues to have.
As always, all auctions have low starting bids and NO RESERVE!!! Don't miss out on these great Marvel comics!
Be Blessed!

Recent Purchases
6:52 PM PST, 4/2/2008
Hey everybody!
Just wanted to update everybody with some recent purchases I made on eBay. As anybody who has been buying comics from me realizes, I have been mainly selling Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Avengers, X-Men and some assorted DC comics. Over the past several weeks, I have sold off all of my silver age Spider-Man. But in recent weeks, I have been slowly buying back some silver age Spidey's, so I will be restocking those issues pretty soon (for those of you who missed out the first go around).
My most recent purchases from Spider-Man include #39 and #40. These two key issues reveal the identity of the Green Goblin for the first time. They're both in VG condition, so keep your eyes peeled for these key issues soon! I have also purchased some other Spider-Man issues from the 40's and 50's and will be listing these in the coming months.
Another coup I scored is a high grade (F/VF) copy of Tales of Suspense #59! This issue starts the first solo stories of Captain America. I will be back filling some TOS issues and then releasing a complete run of Captain America comics in the coming months.
As always, I will be looking out for the best silver age stuff around and passing the deals on to YOU!!!
Stay Tuned and Be Blessed!!!

I Love "BUY IT NOW!"
7:16 AM PST, 4/1/2008
As a buyer, I really love eBay's "BUY IT NOW" feature. It allows me to purchase an item immediately if the price is right and avoid a bidding war within the last minute of an auction (all you bid "snipers" know who you are).
As a seller, I REALLY love BUY IT NOW. I know all of you bargain hunters love the auction format, and I want to provide a pleasant buying experience. Yet, when someone snaps up an item with BUY IT NOW, it makes BOTH of us happy! You, as the buyer, ensure winning an item at a price you like, and I, as the seller, get a price for my item that I can live with. It's a win-win situation.
Case in point, I listed 20 comic books this past Sunday, and several of them were KEY silver age Marvel comics, such as Fantastic Four #48, #49, #50. No sooner did I list them when sombody snapped up four of my comics with BUY IT NOW (FF #'s 49, 52, 52 and ASM #119). It was the single largest sale I have made, so I was happy, and the buyer ensured they got the comics they wanted without having to go though a prolonged bidding war. Win-win!
I would say that I sell about 25% to 30% of my items through BUY IT NOW. The goal for me is to increase that number. I know there will always be people who love the thrill of the auction, but as a seller, I want to maximize my sales. The trick is coming up with a price people will be willing to use BUY IT NOW and a price I can live parting with the item. As always, it's a balancing act that I hope to perfect with experience.
Be blessed!

OK Gang, here's what's new for the week of March 30, 2008:
I am releasing for auction the much coveted run of Fantastic Four comics, #48, #49, #50, #52, and #53. These comics feature the first appearances of the Silver Surfer, Galactus, and the Black Panther. These are highly sought after classics of Marvel's silver age, and they are all in FINE to FINE+ condition, so snap them up while you still can!
Also coming out this week are Avengers #30 - #34, X-Men #128 - #130, #135, #136, and Amazing Spider-Man #115 - #119. Amazing Spider-Man #119 features the epic battle between Spidey and the Hulk and is in VERY FINE condition.
As is usual, all auctions will have low starting bids and NO RESERVE! They will also feature the BUY IT NOW where you can purchase it immediately at 20% - 30% off of Overstreet's prices; for those of you who are into immediate gratification!
Be blessed!!!

Welcome to New Creation Comics
6:39 AM PST, 3/27/2008
Hey everybody, welcome to New Creation Comics! What is New Creation Comics? Glad you asked! New Creation Comics is an extension of New Creation Person Ministries.
New Creation Person is my personal/theological blog which serves as a ministry to promote the matchless name of Jesus Christ. New Creation Comics is a vehicle for selling comics on the internet.
Anyway, my goal for New Creation Comics is to develop a small online auction house for the buying and selling of comic books. I will mainly focus on silver and bronze age Marvel Comics. Why? Because Marvel continues to be the favorite amongst most collectors and the Marvel Comics that came out of the 1960's and early 1970's were nothing short of GREAT!!!
I've been a long time collector of comics, and this gives me a way to engage in a hobby I love while at the same time earning a little extra side cash. I realize that selling on eBay takes a lot of work, at least to turn a profit. I'm not as interested in profit as I am in just buying and selling comics. What that means is there may be days where I get the bargain and days where YOU (the buyer) get the bargain. All that to say this...I'M OK WITH THAT!!! This is more FUN than BUSINESS!
This blog will serve as a promotional vehicle for my online store. I will post news regarding "new" releases and other news as I see fit.
Enjoy, and if you buy something from me, THANK YOU FOR THE BUSINESS!!!
